Much to his satisfaction, Grantaire has been able to keep up with many of his hobbies unabated during his time at the mansion. Not all of them, though, mostly because they were ones he'd go to specific spots for, and with those spots not being here in addition to an abundance of his other hobbies, they more or less fell by the wayside.

However, a recent chat with Dionysus has reminded him that he has very much neglected his 'hitting things' level. Although he didn't find a crash test dummy, the thought being on his mind ended up in him stumbling upon a small gym tucked away, complete with some equipment including a standing punching bag.

So he's discarded his waistcoat and cravat over a bench and is practicing his savate¹.

¹French kickboxing! During R's time it was basically for streetfighting, and just beginning to get formalized, but there are some cool vintage videos on youtube (Here and here) to give the... vibe.

"I don't think so!"

"No complaints at the moment. And no matter how sore I am later, it will still be less than if I had an actual opponent."

"Wonderful. Thou art my most ridiculous friend and I would not woefully let thee down."

"Recklessly bestowing me with quite the superlative, I see."

[sagramore]

"Wouldst thou callously deny thy ridiculousness?"

[futaille]

"Certainly not! I wholeheartedly embrace my ridiculousness, but most ridiculous is quite the claim."

[sagramore]

"Thou art ridiculously sure of that."

[futaille]

"It is decidedly less ridiculous to know you're ridiculous than to preposterously claim a lack of ridiculousness, and therefore, since I wholeheartedly claim my ridiculousness, I cannot possibly be the most ridiculous."

[sagramore]

"Jesu, I don't even want to know what that sounds like in French."

[futaille]

"It sounds marvelous, thank you."

[vineleaves]

"I would hate to impugn your reputation, good sir."

[futaille]

He stops again and peers over at Dionysus. "I'm not sure I believe that."

[vineleaves]

"Whaaaaat?"

[futaille]

"I think you'd like people to think I make excellent points."

[vineleaves]

"Well I also want them to know about the silly points too. It's easily a 30-70 percent split, I can't very well go around ignoring 70% of you."

[futaille]

"I will just state that you can feel free to ignore the thirty percent, if you'd like."
