Now that things have managed to settle down after the havoc of this month's event from the mansion spirits, Grantaire has set his sights on a much more organic event. He did as promised and improved upon Enjolras' early attempt at a flier. It even passed Apollo's judgment and was printed. So now Grantaire is dutifully walking around the mansion with a stack of fliers to post them in whatever public areas he comes across, even venturing outside to hang them up in outbuildings, and enough were printed that there are plenty of extras to be handed out personally if anyone seems curious.

He's of course sure not everyone will come, but the more people do, the more it will seem right, as far as he's concerned, so he's perfectly willing to pitch the event to anyone who seems the least bit amenable to one. Apparently he can stay on task with proper motivation.

He doesn't open his eyes, but searches for Grantaire's other hand to press a soft kiss to it. "Steadfast."

"Mm, if you insist," he grumbles, but it's not a very vehement grumble. He's also kind of glad that Enjolras has his eyes closed so he can't see him blushing.

"I do." He pats the hand he has captive, and snuggles a bit closer.

[futaille]

He smiles a little. "You're steadfast."

[untamedantinous]

"I am, yes," he agrees. "Some would say entirely too much."

[futaille]

"I don't know that I'd say entirely too much."

[untamedantinous]

"I have said it many times before, and I shall say it again: you are quite biased."

[futaille]

"Yes, this is a well-established fact at this point. I could make a pamphlet."

[untamedantinous]

He reddens just a little. "Pray do not, I think the entire world is well aware of your biases."

[futaille]

"That is true enough. I think on that particular topic I have become a pamphlet, with my opinions written in indelible ink on my face."

[untamedantinous]

"Yes, perhaps so."

[futaille]

"There are, I suppose, worse materials to use for a pamphlet. Glass, for instance. Perhaps an eggshell."

[untamedantinous]

"An eggshell would certainly be difficult to write on, yes."

[futaille]

"Oh, I was hardly even considering the writing. The distribution of it, however, would be extraordinarily difficult if you wanted to avoid breaking it."

[untamedantinous]

"Yes. I suppose it is good that that is not the case, then."

[futaille]

"Mm." He snuggles a bit absently. "Also, the amount of space would be a bit inadequate for a good pamphlet, unless the text was extraordinarily small."

[untamedantinous]

"Indeed." He's just going to turn his attentions to snuggling, now.

[futaille]

He will quite happily snuggle back, although he's got his teeth in this concept now, and that will not be dissuading him from continuing. "Now, I did discount glass as a medium, although if one were careful with it, a pamphlet of etched glass would certainly grab attention..."

[untamedantinous]

He makes a noise of assent and just leans against Grantaire, listening absently.

Nestled up next to Enjolras near a fire while being given free range to speak. Even if this isn't exactly everything Grantaire has ever dreamed of, it's at least in one of the upper tiers. "Or perhaps the opposite direction entirely, and chisel it onto stone tablets, in homage to the commandments, which were really a pamphlet of a sort as well, distributed from on high to the masses."

Once again, Enjolras deigns to add anything of importance to the conversation, letting his eyes close a little as he gets more comfortable.

[futaille]

And Grantaire will continue to go on for some time about various potential unusual pamphlet media, and the pros and cons thereof, even as Enjolras dozes off a bit. Quite possibly one of his favorite accompaniments to his nonsense ever.
