Now that things have managed to settle down after the havoc of this month's event from the mansion spirits, Grantaire has set his sights on a much more organic event. He did as promised and improved upon Enjolras' early attempt at a flier. It even passed Apollo's judgment and was printed. So now Grantaire is dutifully walking around the mansion with a stack of fliers to post them in whatever public areas he comes across, even venturing outside to hang them up in outbuildings, and enough were printed that there are plenty of extras to be handed out personally if anyone seems curious.

He's of course sure not everyone will come, but the more people do, the more it will seem right, as far as he's concerned, so he's perfectly willing to pitch the event to anyone who seems the least bit amenable to one. Apparently he can stay on task with proper motivation.

"I can go fetch the cups," he says with a grin. "Unless you meant later. Also, I am fully aware how foolhardy agreeing to play this with a demon is, and yet I press forward regardless."

[aflashbastard]

"Now is fine," Crowley says, amused. Aziraphale's engrossed in his latest book anyway.

[futaille]

"Back in a moment." He downs the rest of his wine before putting the glass down and heading out of the room, returning after a few minutes with three cups of paper slips.

[aflashbastard]

Crowley sips on his wine while Grantaire is gone as well and finishes most of it; might as well, if they're going to be drinking something different soon.

[futaille]

And upon arrival, he sets down the cups in succession, naming each as he does. "Alcohol. Mixer. Extra."

[aflashbastard]

"Extra?" Crowley says, raising an eyebrow. "And do we both drink the same thing?"

[futaille]

"Extra," he says with a grin and a nod. "Garnish or... assorted entertaining addition. We can have the same thing if you'd prefer, or we could each draw separately for ourselves... or each draw separately for each other. There are no real rules."

[aflashbastard]

"Let's draw... separate. See which of us the universe really hates. If you'd like, I could speed the process up a bit too," he offers, waving a hand to simulate miracling something up.

[futaille]

He grins. "Oh, that saves time, yes. Since you're new to the game, I say you should draw first."

[aflashbastard]

"Fine," Crowley agrees, and draws from the three cups. Champagne, mixed with effervescent water, and some guava paste. He waves a hand and there it is. After he takes a sip... he raises it in cheers to Grantaire. "Looks like the universe started me out with an easy one."

[futaille]

"Oh, well done. Luck on your side." He leans over and draws from each cup himself. "Huh. Tequila and tea, served in a coconut."

[aflashbastard]

"Doesn't sound too bad," Crowley offers, producing the drink with the wave of a hand.

[futaille]

"You're right, it really doesn't." He takes a drink. "Oh, yes, I like it. Improved tea. If luck stays on our side like this, it could be lovely."

[aflashbastard]

Crowley draws the next round: Malört, Carrot Juice, Apple Slice... and Share It with a Friend. "Here we go again," he says. He makes two glasses appear this time. "A healthy drink for both of us. Cheers."

[futaille]

"Cheers. We are extremely lucky so far." He downs his collateral drink, bitter but with sweetness added, even as he draws his own next entry.

"Sauvignon Blanc, lemonade, and... corn flakes?"

[aflashbastard]

"Would you like your corn flakes crunchy or soggy?" Crowley asks dryly, handing Grantaire the appropriate mix of ingredients in a glass.

[futaille]

"Crunchy, please." He has a drink and chews on the cereal thoughtfully. "Interesting combination. And still not terrible. The mansion spirits are smiling today."

[aflashbastard]

Crowley draws the next combination -- Pinot Grigio, Mountain Dew (Original), and Ice Cream. "Another easy one," he says, raising an eyebrow at Grantaire. "It feels like we're against the odds right now."

[futaille]

"Maybe they've decided they like us today." He draws his own. Cabernet Sauvignon and grape juice, drunk with a straw. "Or they're building up to hit us extremely hard later."

[aflashbastard]

Crowley miracles up both of the drinks and raises his glass at Grantaire. "Cheers." He takes a sip of his own. "Not bad."

[futaille]

"Cheers." He has a drink of his own as well. Straw and all. "Well, it's not an improvement on the wine at all, but definitely not bad. Does our luck hold out?"

[aflashbastard]

Crowley draws again, now starting to get more invested. Triple Sec, Fruit Punch, add Chili Oil... and Share It with a Friend! "Getting more interesting," he says, after a beat, and brings up two glasses again.

[futaille]

He takes a drink from his glass. The fruit blend is nice, but he coughs a bit when he lowers his glass. "That's got a bit of a kick. I don't dislike it, though."

He draws again. "Why do I keep getting coconuts?" It is, in fact... champagne and beet juice served in a coconut.

Crowley doesn’t mind the chili crisp for the most part, though it is a strange mix of flavors. “Maybe the spirits are trying to get you to eat— well, drink, healthier,” Crowley says, distastefully.

He shrugs. "If they wanted someone who drank healthier, I wouldn't be here in the first place."
