Now that things have managed to settle down after the havoc of this month's event from the mansion spirits, Grantaire has set his sights on a much more organic event. He did as promised and improved upon Enjolras' early attempt at a flier. It even passed Apollo's judgment and was printed. So now Grantaire is dutifully walking around the mansion with a stack of fliers to post them in whatever public areas he comes across, even venturing outside to hang them up in outbuildings, and enough were printed that there are plenty of extras to be handed out personally if anyone seems curious.

He's of course sure not everyone will come, but the more people do, the more it will seem right, as far as he's concerned, so he's perfectly willing to pitch the event to anyone who seems the least bit amenable to one. Apparently he can stay on task with proper motivation.

He takes a drink from his glass. The fruit blend is nice, but he coughs a bit when he lowers his glass. "That's got a bit of a kick. I don't dislike it, though."

He draws again. "Why do I keep getting coconuts?" It is, in fact... champagne and beet juice served in a coconut.

Crowley doesn’t mind the chili crisp for the most part, though it is a strange mix of flavors. “Maybe the spirits are trying to get you to eat— well, drink, healthier,” Crowley says, distastefully.

He shrugs. "If they wanted someone who drank healthier, I wouldn't be here in the first place."

"Well, at least getting some vitamins in." He picks the next drink. Makgeolli, Root Beer, and Mint. He raises his eyebrow. "Have you ever had Makgeolli? It's a bit sour. But in a good way. This should be interesting." He miracles it up and takes a sip, looking mildly contemplative for the first time.

"What's the verdict?" He draws his own. Emperor's Smile, Diet Mountain Dew, and garlic. He looks at the slips of paper. "Huh."

"Not bad," Crowley says, finally. It isn't too bad, just strange. He looks at Grantaire's slips of paper and creates the drink for him, heavy on the garlic. "Good luck."

[futaille]

He holds up his glass. "Cheers." And with that he downs a good-sized gulp. The taste does some very interesting things to his expression and if he had clogged sinuses, he certainly doesn't now. "Oh, I think they've stopped being nice." His face feels like garlic.

Crowley snickers slightly, drawing his next combination. Well, he's not going to suffer as much. Pinot Noir, Red Bull, and Liquid Smoke. "This sounds like something they'd charge $20 for in London in a cocktail bar that's way too dark," he offers, easily making the drink appear with the wave of a hand. The liquid smoke spirals up into the air.

Grantaire shoots an accusatory look at the ceiling. "That's unfair. Give him garlic."

Still, though, he draws his next in preparation. "Or even the scales in that direction, that's fine." Merlot, root beer, and, liquid smoke.

"Cheers to expensive cocktails," Crowley says, producing the drink for Grantaire and then raising his own glass in the cheers. It isn't too bad.

[futaille]

"Cheers." He drinks his own, which is also not too bad. "I think that was a reward for the garlic."

"Oh, here we go," Crowley mutters, as he draws his next drink. Tempranillo, Root Beer, and... Gochujang. He produces it, drinks it, and makes a face. The gochujang has a pretty big kick and it doesn't meld well with root beer at all.

Grantaire can't help it. He lets out a burst of laughter at the look on Crowley's face after drinking that. He then turns back to the cups and draws his own. Amaretto, grape juice, and marshmallows. "... Oh yes, it definitely wants me drinking healthier."

[aflashbastard]

"Grape juice," Crowley shrugs, handing him the chosen drink. "It's, uh, heart healthy. I think." He's not sure where he picked that up. The next drink is Chūhai with Hot Water and ...Gold Foil? He's starting to feel the rapid fire drinks just the slightest.

[futaille]

"It's wine without the wine. It's fine with the amaretto added, but I could do without the marshmallow, I think." He is, of course, feeling it a bit too, but he's had much more intense drinking binges than this. He draws his next drink as well.... Malört, Clamato, and black licorice. "What is Clamato?"

It's terrible news for Grantaire that Crowley looks incredibly amused. "Good luck with this one," he says, not explaining what Clamato is and just handing the drink over instead.

Crowley's demeanor does concern him a bit, but not nearly enough. He takes a good-sized swig of the drink and just barely manages to get it down before he comes up hacking and spluttering.

When he finally manages to muster up the ability to speak, it's to ask one question, and even then the words are a bit choked. "What the hell did I just put in my mouth?"

Crowley does actually outright laugh at this¹ -- but out of sheer morbid curiosity, he also grabs the drink and take a sip himself. "That's horrendous," he says, setting it down. "Clamato is tomato juice with clam broth and hot sauce."

"Of course it is," he says, still trying to work the flavor out of his mouth. "I have no issue with any of those ingredients in isolation, and they may even be useful together, but apparently not with Malört and licorice."

Crowley's still amused but it fades slightly as he pulls the combination of Everclear, Tea, and Chow Mein Noodles. "Huh," he says. He produces it in drink form -- but it does not look pretty at all.

He looks at the drink Crowley produces. "... Good luck with that."

The Everclear is a little strong but the flavor isn't terrible, it's mostly the noodles that are problematic. "Very chewy," Crowley says.

"Could be worse, I guess." He goes back to the cups and draws his next. Malört, Kool-Aid, and Tabasco. "I don't dislike Malört, but twice in a row? Although maybe it's trying to make up for the Clamato."

[aflashbastard]

"The Kool-Aid could be making up for it but the Tabasco might clash," Crowley comments, handing Grantaire a glass.

He takes a long drink of it and nods. "Honestly, it does clash a little, but it's such a dramatic improvement over the last one, I like it more than I should."
