He shakes his head. "It didn't. I mean, especially at the start. I couldn't bring myself to believe in everything he did, so making him angry instead was an easier way. Besides, when he's angry he seems like... a force of nature, almost. Terrifying in a way that you're drawn to. Or at least that I am."
